Would Jesus approve?

The Watchtower Society has built it's reputation and financial power on the backs of millions of dedicated "sheep like" members, for over 100 years.

The control and ultimate ownership of it's members is paramount to the survival of this multi-faceted Corporation.

This religious organization claims it practices the equivalent of the 1st. century Christians in as much as their door to door work, and their "organizational unity".

This claim, among many others, is demonstrably false, in that the 1st century Christians were not adjoined in the amassing of material and monetary wealth.

One needs to ask himself; "Is this how I would expect Jesus, our humble Lord, to build an empire, dedicated to the advancement of a new society"?

Or did Jesus concentrate on the individual lives of His followers then, as He does now?

The phrase "The same, yesterday, today, and forever" carries with it the guarantee of a simple and eloquent way to believe in, and happily serve God.

As concerns the replies from the very wealthy WTBTS regarding this amassing of billions of dollars of property and cash, my answer is simple;   "Liars figure, but figures never lie".

Were the 1st century Christians deposed to seek this wealth?
Or were they seeking a different kind of wealth, of truth, and of God's love?

Would Jesus "approve" of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society?
